Old money.

Hristo Stoichkov is among 11 former Parma football players under investigation by Italian prosecutors for allegedly accepting under-the-counter cash from the club's officials, which contributed to the defrauding of Parmalat, the corporation that owned the club, sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport said on February 28. The sums cepted by the players, who allegedly signed invoices for fake sponsorship contracts in return for off-the-books cash, ranged from $163 774 for Massimo Crippa to $5.65 million for Juan-Sebastian Veron, totalling about 10 million euro. Stoichkov, who spent the twilight of his career at Parma after a long and trophy-laden spell at Barcelona, allegedly received $550 000, according to the daily.
