Old Style cans salute the Blackhawks.

G. Heileman Brewing Co.'s Old Style and Old Style Light beer brands, working in conjunction with the National Hockey League's Chicago Blackhawks, has debuted a new Old Style/Blackhawk commemorative beer can that is currently available to consumers.

Old Style and Old Style Light 16-oz. cans are currently available in bars, taverns and retail outlets in the Greater Chicago area, according to a Heileman spokesperson.

According to Heileman, the can helps to celebrate the winning tradition of the Chicago Blackhawks. The can's highlights include the Blackhawk's team logo along with their three Stanley Cup victories. Also featured on the can are several depictions of recent Chicago Blackhawk hockey action.

The Old Style and Old Style Light Blackhawks can marks the first time the team has been featured in the Old Style collection, according to Charlie Neuburg, Old Style's group marketing manager.

"Old Style is proud to continue its tradition of saluting Chicago sports teams," Neuburg explained. "On behalf of all Old Style consumers, we certainly hope that this is the first step toward bringing another Stanley Cup to the Chicago area."
