Oki Data Americas Promotes James J. Hargadon To Executive Vice President.

Oki Data Americas, Inc., a leading manufacturer of printers, fax machines and multifunction products, today announced the promotion of James J. Hargadon, 50, of Glenside, PA to the post of executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Mr. Hargadon has served as senior vice president and chief financial officer since August, 1992.

Mr. Hargadon will maintain his current responsibilities, which include Human Resources, Finance, Legal Affairs, Facilities, Information Systems, and Operations, and will continue to report directly to the President and CEO, Stew Krentzman.

Mr. Hargadon will continue to serve on the Board of Directors for Oki Data Americas, Inc., and act as President and Board Member for both Oki Data de Mexico, S.A de C.V., and Oki Data do Brasil Ltda.

Mr. Hargadon has over 25 years experience in the areas of Management and Finance. Prior to joining Oki Data in May of 1977, Mr. Hargadon spent two years at Decision Data Computer Corporation as a Cost Accountant.

Mr. Hargadon graduated Cum Laude from Widener University (Chester, PA) in May of 1975 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Economics and Management.

Mr. Hargadon is a Founding Board Member of the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia and is on the Executive Advisory Council for Rutgers University's School of Business.

Mr. Hargadon is married with three children.
