Officials Concerned Stolen Ambulances May be Used in Attack.

By IsraelNationalNews.com

Emergency medical service officials have expressed concern that stolen Magen David Adom ambulances might be intended for use in a terrorist attack. Two stolen ambulances were recently recovered near PA areas.

Coming under fire for failing to take better security precautions at ambulance parking facilities, MDA Director-General Avi Zohar explained the organization was running on dry, making mention of the 30 million shekels required just to resume operations.

Zohar added that while EMS crews and vehicles remain ready to respond to attacks on a moment's notice, there are delays responding to other EMS call due to the fiscal crisis. Zohar insisted that repeated demands for emergency funding to various government agencies seem to have fallen on deaf ears.
