Offices set to become flats.

AN office development in Solihull is set to be converted into new apartments after being acquired by a residential developer.

Prince's Gate, in Homer Road, consists of Consort House, Royal House and Regent House and has been bought by Birminghambased Elevate Property in an undisclosed deal from New Yorkbased investment manager Westbrook Partners.

Elevate Property is working with a joint venture partner, Investin, on the scheme which will create 100 apartments. Work will begin this spring on the initial phase to convert the three office buildings and Elevate is also considering plans for residential development on the site of the redundant multistorey car park next door.
