Office Network changes name to reflect global approach

Rostenberg-Doern Company, Inc. joined with the 29 other Office Network firms to announce "Oncor International" as the new name for The Office Network.

"The name change represents our commitment to being part of the globalization of business and changes in the commercial real estate industry," said Alan R. Peterson, vice president/national accounts, Rostenberg-Doern Company, Inc.

Rostenberg-Doern Company, founded in 1975 was chosen to be the Westchester/Fairfield representative for The Office Network in 1983.

Peterson said Oncor International's expansion outside the United States began in 1985 and its growth in industrial, retail, investment and other real estate services, entered into the decision for a name change which now removes the focus from office and expands the international perspective. Oncor International has direct access to member firms in 165 other markets in 16 countries," said the Stamford real estate executive.
