Off the mark; Local football WILF NOBLE BUILDING SUPPLIES ESKVALE & CLEVELAND LEAGUE HOLLYBUSH 4, BROTTON RAILWAY ARMS 1.

HOLLYBUSH secured their first win of the season in midweek at home to Brotton. Chapman headed home a free-kick after just five minutes and they looked to be cruising.

But Brotton battled back and were looking likely to equalise as half-time approached.

The pattern continued at the start of the second half and they got their reward when a clumsy tackle by Wood on Brotton man-of-the-match Patterson earned them a spot-kick from which Brown made no mistake.

That revitalised Hollybush and they went back on the attack.

Good work from Duck led to him being brought down and Wood made up for his earlier error by sending the keeper the wrong way from the spot.

Hollybush were now in control and a sweet left-foot volley from Duck and a cool finish from Longstone wrapped up the win.
