October 1-7 2002 designated LTC Awareness Week. (Under the Wire).

Citizens For Long Term Care (CLTC), a coalition of long term care consumers, providers, insurers, workers and professionals, has designated Oct. 1-7, 2002, Long Term Care Awareness Week. CLTC state chapters will sponsor town hall meetings and educational conferences as well as facility tours. Scheduled one month prior to the mid-term elections, candidates for the House of Representatives, the Senate and governorships will be contacted about participating in awareness activities.
