Oceanography and marine biology; v.50

This 50th edition of the annual review provides, as has its predecessors, authoritative reviews on recent research in the fields of oceanography and marine biology. Considered as a reference text for researchers and students, the review covers physical, chemical, and biological elements of marine science in descriptions prepared by professionals in those fields. A few topics in this issue include: iron bioavailability in the Southern Ocean, anthropogenic nutrient enrichment and blooms of harmful phytoplankton, and changing coasts: marine aliens and artificial structures. Editors are Gibson and Gordon (Scottish Association for Marine Science, Scotland), Atkinson (University Marine Biological Station, UK), and Hughes (Molecular Ecology and Fisheries Genetics Laboratory, Bangor U., UK).
