Obstacle in reconstruction of schools to be removed: Atif.
Peshawar -- Provincial Minister for Education Mohammad Atif Khan directed to resolve the delaying factors in reconstruction of few schools in Malakand Division.
Mohammad Atif Khan chaired a meeting regarding reconstruction of schools here in the office of Provincial Disaster Management Authority - PDMA. Mohammad Atif Khan Directed Secretary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Afzal Latif to coordinate with all the stakeholders to expedite the process of reconstruction.
Meeting was attended by Afzal Latif Secretary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Tahir Orakzai Director General PDMA and Representatives from Education Department and PDMA. Muhammad Tahir Orakzai informed the meeting regarding progress of reconstruction in Malakand Division carried out by Provincial Reconstruction Rehabilitation and Settlement Authority PaRRSA.
Muhammad Tahir Orakzai said that 136 schools are completed with the support of International Donors and assured the participants that reconstruction is carried out on approved standards and infrastructure-built is disaster resilient.
He also identified the obstacles in prompt execution of reconstruction process.
