The garden is a place to share
Invite friends to a comfy chair
To laugh and talk and pour hot tea
Beneath the boughs of an old tree

A special place to be alone
To hear the wind chimes' golden tone
To watch the sparrow as it sings
And feel the breezes summer brings

Though but a tiny piece of ground
This is where true peace is found
And when the day's strife takes its toll
The garden's beauty soothes the so
