Oak Class step back in time.

In Year 5 and 6 children have been learning about the Victorians. They enjoyed examining interesting artefacts from the era including a ceramic hot water bottle, men's night dress and chamber pot! They had a Victorian morning where they came to school wearing Victorian style clothes. Their lessons included handwriting, drill and an object lesson about potatoes. To conclude their topic, the class will be visiting Gateshead CLC to create a multi media presentation on the Titanic and participating in a drama workshop linked to the Victorians.
