OVER 100 JOB OFFERS MADE TO COLORADO AERO TECH
 AIRFRAME AND POWERPLANT GRADUATES
BROOMFIELD, Colo., May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Northrop has made over 100 job offers to recent airframe and powerplant (A & P) graduates of Colorado Aero Tech. Northrop, an aerospace manufacturer and production company headquartered in Pico Riveria, Calif. is needing to hire 485 people to work on the B-2 Bomber project by August. "Colorado Aero Tech is the first place we come to recruit from. In the past their A & P students have been very beneficial and capable with the work we had," said Gene Novak, Northrop manager of general and professional staffing.
Northrop sent 11 recruiters to the Aero Tech campus for the three day interviewing session. They are offering relocation expenses and paying between $11 and $16 per hour. "The best part is our graduates will be gaining experience in structures, electrical installation and hydraulics," said Cindy Goodman, Colorado Aero Tech director of career development. "These are all areas that are sought after by major airlines," he added. Northrop plans to return to Colorado Aero Tech in June for another interview session.
Colorado Aero Tech is an aviation maintenance technology school offering programs in airframe and powerplant and avionics training. For more information contact the admissions department at 800-888-3995.
