our dedicated sales organization. Acquired in 1992, our subsidiary HC Implants BV is developing unique biomaterials for orthopaedic and other surgical applications. These activities have contributed significantly to our revenue growth from $9,686,000 in 1991 to $14,651,000 in 1992. Also, Osteotech recently signed an agreement with Heinrich C. Ulrich KG for the exclusive U.S. marketing rights to all Ulrich's devices and instruments for spinal surgery. The initial Ulrich product line to be marketed by Osteotech is the Universal Spine Instrumentation System (USIS(R)), which includes the Zielke Spinal Implant System. Osteotech plans to continue with this strategy and will be adding additional products to the company through internal development and acquisition."
Roger Stikeleather, Osteotech's executive vice president, marketing and sales added, "We will begin marketing AAP trauma products in the third quarter in select sales territories. We expect to expand distribution nationally in the first quarter of 1994."
