BOSTON, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Hunt-Wesson, Inc. and Orville Redenbacher's have enlisted in the aid of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves in South Weymouth, Mass., to brighten up the holiday season for needy children in the Boston area. Orville Redenbacher's has donated $25,000 in toys to the South Weymouth Marines as part of a nationwide program.
A total of $125,000 worth of toys has been donated by Orville Redenbacher's to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves for distribution to needy children throughout the United States. "By donating toys to local needy children through an excellent organization such as the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Toys For Tots program, Hunt-Wesson and Orville Redenbacher's hope to give a little something back to the communities that support our products throughout the year," said Jim Tyner, sales promotion manager at Hunt-Wesson.

In addition to donating $25,000 worth of toys to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves in South Weymouth, Hunt-Wesson and Orville Redenbacher's also provided toy drop- off boxes in more than 200 participating stores -- from major retail stores to small independent grocers -- in an effort to garner additional support from the local community-at-large.
