ORGANIZED LIVING OPENS IN MINNESOTA.
"We have a real cherry-picking philosophy," said Mark Ferrel, president and chief executive officer of Organized Living, who added that when the location in Edina became available, it fit in well with the company's plans.
The store will have 25,000 square feet of selling space, with a merchandise mix of approximately 7,500 storage and organization products.
"The majority [of the offerings] will be the same. There is very little change," said Ferrel. As in the other stores, service will be key, he added. "Our goal is to help our customers simplify their lives by making their organizational tasks easier. It is important to us that our customers feel they are coming to our store not only for products, but also for our expertise."
Organized Living is planning two additional openings this year. A West Bloomfield, Mich., store will open in August, followed by a Santa Clara, Cal., store in September.
