ORANGE COUNTY COURT DISMISSES DAHLGREN VERDICT
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is

being issued by ASICS TIGER Corp.:
ASICS TIGER Corp. has received written verification from the Orange County California Court that Judge Robert C. Todd has set aside the recent jury ruling in the Dahlgren vs. ASICS case.
Last month, an Orange County jury found that ASICS owed former sales representative Don Dahlgren, $38,000 in compensatory damages and $500,000 in punitive damages, as a result of a contract termination suit filed by Dahlgren in 1983.
In a written summation received by ASICS, Todd ruled that, according to specific points of law, the evidence in the case did not support the awards determined by the jury and has ordered the judgment set aside. Todd also granted ASICS a new trial.
 H. Peter Goehrig, vice president and general manager of ASICS TIGER Corp., stated after receiving the ruling that, "I respect Judge Todd's analysis of the trial and the fact that he was willing to overturn the jury's decision, based on points of law."
