OPTIONS TRADING TO BEGIN FOR MICROCHIP TECHNOLOGY

 CHANDLER, Ariz., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Microchip Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: MCHP) announced today that both the Chicago Board Options Exchange and New York Stock Exchange have begun trading options on its stock as of Monday, Nov. 8, 1993. Initial strike prices for the options have been set at $30, $35, and $40 for expirations in November, December, January, and April. Microchip options are traded under the symbol QMT.
