OPAC playing vital role to resolve problems of expats.
ISLAMABAD -- The newly established Overseas Pakistanis Advisory Council (OPAC) is playing vital role in resolving the problems of expatriates across the globe.
An official source told reporter here on Friday, he said that recently Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) was set up OPAC for the welfare and development of Overseas Pakistanis.
OPAC is consisting 137-member across the globe to get feedback and suggestions from Overseas Pakistanis to furnish policies in future.
The members of OPAC recently visited various countries and met with Pakistani expatriates to get first hand information about their issues and problems abroad.
OPF has approved Rs.100 million for scholarships to the children of overseas Pakistanis besides granting approval of Rs. 30 million for internship programme for children of Pakistani expatriates.
OPF is striving hard to provide maximum services to overseas Pakistanis in all walks of life.
He said that provision of more facilities and resolution of problems being faced by overseas Pakistanis is the top most priority of the government. OPF will also hold International seminar.
