WE WROTE: Tony Mowbray defends Emnes after Riverside crowd booed him when he was substituted against Accrington YOU SAID: I don't agree with booing players either.

But Marv can't score, he's been here forever and has never managed to find the net on a consistent basis.

Whenever I see him play, he breaks forward momentum by holding on to the ball too long, makes sometimes baffling decisions and panics when presented with an opportunity. He's often brushed off the ball and seems to lack conviction at crucial times in a match.

- Dogged Realist Marvin Emnes is NOT a good striker. He fails to finish, regularly. He does not play in unity with his strike partner (Jutkiewicz), and he rarely has a positive end product. Very average to say the least. Maybe the reaction he got on Tuesday was out of frustration. Maybe we all would have rather seen McDonald in a Boro strip? May be we'd all like to see a new striker, and are letting Emnes know it? - Boro Wazza
