CUE CARD will face six rivals when he bids to round-off a hugely successful season in tomorrow's Bibby Financial Services Punchestown Gold Cup.

Winner of the Betfair Chase, King George and Betfred Bowl this season, Colin Tizzard's charge, ridden again by Paddy Brennan, will renew Aintree rivalry with the Willie Mullinstrained pair, Don Poli (Bryan Cooper) and Djakadam (Ruby Walsh), which he beat convincingly.

The field will also include Cheltenham Gold Cup fourth Carlingford Lough (Barry Geraghty), plus Smashing (Noel Fehilly), Road To Riches (Davy Russell) and Foxrock (Denis O'Regan), the first three home in the Webster Cup in Navan last month.

WILLIE MULLINS will have no less than six runners in the Champion Bumper tomorrow, a race he has won four times in the last five years.

Leading his team will be Bacardys and Battleford, winner and runner-up in the Grade 2 bumper at Aintree, having been placed in the Weatherbys Champion Bumper (Grade 1) at Cheltenham while Castella Sforza, fourth at Cheltenham, will also be part of the team.

The David Pipe-trained Moon Racer, off the track since winning the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham last year, will return to action in tomorrow's race, with Jamie Codd in the saddle.

And the field will also include unbeaten four-year-old Aspen Colorado from Aidan O'Brien's Owning team.

THE Aidan O'Brien-trained favourite Air Force Blue and Minding top the list of 17 acceptors for Saturday's Qipco-sponsored Guineas.

Air Force Blue is a long odds-on favourite to land the 2,000 Guineas, in which O'Brien has also left Air Vice Marshall, Bravery and Shogun at the forfeit stage.

The other Irish-trained acceptors are Jim Bolger's Herald The Dawn and the Michael O'Callaghan-trained Blue De Vega.

O'Brien intends running three fillies in the 1,000 Guineas on Sunday - Minding, Ballydoyle and Alice Springs.

WILLIE MULLINS-trained Bellshill is likely to start favourite for tomorrow's Grade 1 Irish Daily Mirror Novice Hurdle.

Gigginstown will mount a six-strong challenge, spear-headed by General Principle while the Sandra Hughes-trained Acapela Bourgeois will be another leading fancy.

THE FIELD IS: Acapela Bourgeois, Arkwrisht, Bellshill, Bigbadjohn, Emerging Force, Gangster, General Principle, Sandymount Duke, Stone Hard, Thebarrowman, Agenie In Abottle, Coney Island.
