OMNICOM GROUP REPORTS RESULTS

 NEW YORK, April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Omnicom Group, Inc. (NYSE: OMC) today announced that net income for the first quarter of 1993 increased 15 percent to $14.7 million from $12.7 million in the first quarter of 1992. Fully diluted earnings per share increased 13 percent to $0.51 per share in 1993 from $0.45 per share in 1992.
 Worldwide revenues from commission and fee income increased 4 percent to $321.2 million in the first quarter of 1993 from $308.9 million in the first quarter of 1992. Domestically, commission and fee income for the first quarter of 1993 increased 7 percent to $176.1 million compared to $164.6 million in 1992. International commission and fee income for the first quarter of 1993 increased to $145.1 million compared to $144.3 million in 1992.
 The company added that the previously announced addition of TBWA International as a third agency network is scheduled to be completed by the end of May, as planned. TBWA's results of operations will be consolidated with the company's in the second quarter of 1993.
