OMNI FILMS ENTERS NEW MARKET WITH SALE TO JORDAN'S
SARASOTA, Fla., March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Omni Films International,

Inc., (NASDAQ: OFII) said today that it has "tapped into a new market" with the recent shipment of a Motion Master theater to Jordan's Furniture, a major retailer in Avon, Mass.
Fred Hollingsworth III, Omni Films president and chief executive officer, said the sale is the company's first to a customer outside the company's usual marketplace, and expects Omni to aggressively pursue sales to other major retail-store operators.
According to a Jordan's spokesperson, the Motion Master theater will be featured at an entertainment complex designed to draw customers to the store site.
Hollingsworth said the sale of the theater and the licensing of a high-action motion picture to Jordan's for one year have a combined value of about $910,000. Jordan's, said to be one of the country's most successful privately owned furniture retailers, operates three stores in New England and has sales per square foot among the highest in the furniture industry.
The Motion Master theater features seats that are hydraulically controlled to provide vertical, lateral, pitch and roll movements. According to Hollingsworth, the motion is synchronized with the motion picture on the theater's movie screen to heighten the sense of realism and give the audience a greater feeling of participation in the action.
He said the Motion Master theater delivered to Jordan's is the 18th to be sold by the company. He said the others were sold mainly to theme parks, tourist attractions and other more traditional customers.
Omni Films International is a vertically integrated entertainment technology company specializing in the design, manufacture and sale of large-screen, three-dimensional and motion-simulation theater systems and the production and licensing of 70mm films specifically for use in Omni theaters.
