 OLDSMOBILE NINETY EIGHT SALES ON THE RISE
 LANSING, Mich., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Large luxury cars continue


to sell well at Oldsmobile, as the Ninety Eight is selling considerably ahead of the year-ago rate.
 David E. Lahti, Oldsmobile's general sales and service manager, said that Oldsmobile dealers have delivered 7,974 1992 Ninety Eights which is ahead of last year's sales pace by 50 percent. "Calendar year to date," Lahti added, "the Ninety Eight Regency, Regency Elite and Touring Sedan are out-pacing the previous year by 26 percent."
 Lahti attributed the luxury, comfort and performance of the Ninety Eight, plus the great value as the reasons for its sales success. He added that the Oldsmobile Edge, with its great roadside service and courtesy transportation, makes it an even greater value.
