OHM CORPORATION JOINT VENTURE COMPANY AWARDED $8.9 MILLION FACILITY CLEANUP CONTRACT AT DOE SUPERFUND SITE

 FINDLAY, Ohio, April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- OHM Corporation (NYSE: OHM) today announced that its joint venture with B&W Nuclear Environmental Services, Inc. has been awarded an $8.9 million contract for low level radioactive waste cleanup at the Department of Energy Weldon Spring Superfund Site near St. Louis. This is the second contract OHM has been awarded this year at this facility.
 The new contract awarded to the joint venture is for the decontamination of low level radioactive and hazardous waste and for the demolition of 11 buildings. The buildings are on the site of the former uranium processing complex operated by DOE's predecessor, the Atomic Energy Commission.
 Work at the site will begin during the second quarter of 1993 and conclude in 1995. In February, OHM was awarded another contract having a total potential value of $17.7 million for removal of chemically and radioactively contaminated mixed waste from a nine-acre quarry at the Weldon Spring Superfund Site.
