 OHIO-BASED BUEHLERS OPENS MEDINA SHOWPLACE
MEDINA, Ohio, March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- From its roots in 1929 as a

small New Philadelphia "Mom and Pop" grocery store, the family-run Buehler organization has grown to a 10 store success story with the recent opening of the newest Buehlers -- Medina River Styx.
"Buehlers has always been very progressive in merchandising and customer service," said Roger Buehler, company spokesperson. "Our Medina River Styx store embodies our commitment to offering our shoppers only the best."
Dubbed "Today's grocery store for today's shopper," the new store features customer oriented conveniences and extras like parcel pick up, an in-store cooking school, banking services, a play area, a restaurant and more.
"No longer having to load groceries into their cars is a free service that our shoppers will find especially appealing," said Buehler. The Medina River Styx store features a four-lane parcel pick up area where groceries will be loaded into shoppers' cars by Buehler employees. "At the very least, it guarantees no more shopping carts bumping into cars," he added.
"Cooking classes are another way that we serve our shoppers," said Buehler. "We'll have a home economist on hand daily to conduct classes and answer customer questions."
Other customer oriented features at the River Styx store include an in-store bakery, Seafood Cove, and full-service meat department. And to stress one-stop shopping convenience, it includes a Banc One(TM) location with 24-hour Jubilee machine and multiple drive-up windows, Cloak & Hanger(TM) dry cleaning, an American Greetings(TM) card shop, Little Tykes(TM) play area, FTD(TM) floral shop, The Mill restaurant, a video department and more.
Buehlers will celebrate the Medina River Styx opening with special events and savings throughout March and April.
Since 1929, Buehlers has been a leader in the grocery business, incorporating the latest in merchandising features and adding non-food departments to give the customers one-stop shopping convenience. The Buehler family owns and operates 10 stores in Northeast and central Ohio.
