Byline: The Register-GuardWinnifred Tremayne
A memorial service will be held July 22 for Winnifred A. Tremayne of Eugene, who died July 12 of cancer. She was 83.
Tremayne was born Feb. 27, 1920, in Alberta, Canada, to Frederick and Alice Rivett Silk. She married William Tremayne in San Diego on May 5, 1969.
She lived in San Diego until 1993, when she settled in Eugene.
She was a homemaker and she enjoyed reading, traveling and gardening. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Linda Lyons of Orem, Utah; a son, Stuart of Beaverton; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchil- dren.
Tuesday's service will be held at 1 p.m. in the recreation hall at Lee's Mobile Home Park in Eugene. Burial will be at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego. Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
Noah Robinson
FLORENCE - The funeral will be July 21 for Noah "Bepo" Robinson of Florence, who died July 16 of age-related causes. He was 90.
Robinson was born Dec. 24, 1912, in Dickenson County, Va., to Jarvey and Darkie Stanley Robinson.
He married Mary Jewell Yates in Clintwood, Va., on Feb. 26, 1946. Robinson lived in Coeburn, Va., from 1912 to 1964 when he moved to Florence.
He served in the Army during World War II. He worked for CC Camp, Clinchfield Coal Co. and Davidson Industries, where he retired from in 1982.
His enjoyed spending time with his family and gardening.
Survivors include two sons, Larry and Richard, both of Florence; three daughters, Lillian Lehman of Milwaukie, Betty Norwood and Kaye Winter, both of Florence; one brother, Adam of Coeburn, Va.; four sisters, Bertie Buchanan of Wise, Va., Olive Cantrell, Artie Stanley and Dine Mullins, all of Coeburn; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
His wife; a daughter, Mary; a son, Ronnie; and a grandson, Ryan Erskine Robinson, died previously.
Monday's service will be at 3 p.m. at Burns' Riverside Chapel and Funeral Home in Florence.
