A celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. Aug. 11 at the United Methodist Church in Corvallis for Elizabeth J. "Betty" Bond of Corvallis, formerly of Junction City. She died June 30 of age-related causes at age 86.
She was born Aug. 20, 1920, in Dallas to Chris and Elizabeth Hannan Domaschofsky.
She married William Ford in May 1943 in Corvallis and he died in 1958. She married Melvin Bond in June 1971. He died in 2004.
She attended Junction City schools and graduated from Junction City High School. She graduated from Oregon State University in 1943 with a degree in home economics. She worked at OSU as a lecturer and seed analyst, at Halsey Seed Laboratory and as a supervisor at an Albany nursery school.
Survivors include three sons, William Ford Jr. of Corvallis, Richard Ford of Phoenix, Ariz., and Robert Ford of Des Moines, Iowa; a daughter, Caroline Ford of Corvallis and Key West, Fla.; a sister, Christine Courtright of La Grande; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at First Congregational Church in Eugene for Ronald A. Findlay of Eugene. He died of cancer July 27 at age 84.
He was born Aug. 13, 1922 in Vancouver, B.C., to Walter and Florence Stillman Findlay. He married Patricia Earsley in 1947, and she died in June, 1985. He married Joan McInnes in 1989, and she died in September, 1994. He married Jan Amundson on July 31, 1999.
Findlay served in the Air Force from 1942 to 1945 in England during World War II.
He graduated from Reed College in Portland in 1949. He received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Oregon Medical School in 1952.
He operated a family medical practice in Eugene from 1952 to 1988. He served as director of the Cancer Care Center at Sacred Heart Medical Center from 1988 to 1990 and was chief of staff at the hospital from 1968 to 1969.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Laird Findlay of Marysville, Wash.; a daughter, Martha Avels of Twentynine Palms, Calif.; a stepson, David Amundson of Eugene; two stepdaughters, Kristin Amundson-Ringsage of Washougal, Wash. and Kathleen Amundson of Astoria; five grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
A son, Greg, died in 1966, and a grandson died in 2003.
Burial will be in Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the Sacred Heart Foundation.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, July 30, at Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Bend for Stella Louise Miller of Bend, formerly of the Springfield area. She died July 25 of age-related causes at age 79.
She was born May 23, 1928, in Bismarck, N.D. to William and Florence Chase Coleman. She married Kenneth Miller on March 8, 1947, in Springfield.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Kenneth, Ronald and Douglas; two daughters, Connie Booher and Debora Dean; two brothers, Al Coleman and Jack Coleman, both of Springfield; a sister, Geraldine Collman of Veneta; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Springfield Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Autumn Funerals in Bend. Remembrances to Central Oregon Home Health and Hospice in Bend.
