OBITUARIES; ZOIE ADKINS DUNGEE.

Visitation for Zoie Adkins Dungee of Palmdale will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, 38141 6th St. E. in Palmdale.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be at Little Elam Cemetery in Charles City County, Va.

Dungee, born Sept. 12, 1928, in Richmond, Va., died Thursday at the age of 71. She had worked as an American Indian liaison for the Los Angeles Mayor's Office for 14 years and was the first female tribal chief for Los Angeles City and County Native American Council.

Survivors include two children, Faika Greene-Woods and Famir Greene-Allen; a brother, Harold Bates; and two grandchildren, Kristin Marie and Dawn Elizabeth Allen.

Chapel of the Valley Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

JOAN G. GILBREATH

Services for Joan G. Gilbreath will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Littlerock Ward, 35266 87th St. E. in Littlerock. Private interment will follow.

Gilbreath, born Sept. 20, 1932, in Ogden, Utah, and a resident of Trail, Ore., died Tuesday in Lancaster at the age of 67. She had worked as a cook for 20 years.

Survivors include children, Norman, Bradley, Cynthia, Glenda, Davee, Claudia, Sonja and Charles Gilbreath, Roberta Muth and Shawna Wood; sisters, Marilyn Haven, Connie Vodicka and Kathy Carter; and mother, Katherine Doak.

Chapel of the Valley Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
