OAP suffers head injury in accident.

AN ELDERLY man has been taken to hospital with a head injury after he was hit by a car in Coventry.

The collision happened in Sky Blue Way just after W 11.20am yesterday.

A West Midlands Ambu W -lance Service spokesman said: "The man was treated at the scene for a head injury.

"He was fully immobilised and taken to University Hospital in Coventry. "The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, was visibly shaken following the incident.

"She was assessed at the scene and taken to hospital as a precaution." | A MOTORBIKE and car collided on Coventry Ring Road yesterday afternoon.

Police officers and the West Midlands Ambulance WService attended the scene, near to the junction with Radford Road, at about 2.35pm but fortunately nobody was hurt.
