OAP appeals as beads stolen; INBRIEF.

AN ELDERLY woman is appealing for the return of a precious set of rosary beads after her car was broken into at Middlesbrough's Stewart Park.

The woman's car boot was broken into on the morning of Saturday, October 24 and her handbag -containing money, bank cards and the set of rosary beads - was stolen. The beads are said to have great sentimental value to the lady, who is in her seventies. Anyone with information should call police on 01642 303126 or drop the beads off at the Middlehaven Police station.
