O'Higgins can pick up where they left off; FOOTBALL.

O'HIGGINS made light of not playing any of their home matches in Rancagua during the Apertura and they can continue their good form, wherever they pitch up, by kicking off the Clausura with victory over Iquique, writes Steve Davies. Rebuilding work means O'Higgins won't be able to move back into their El Teniente home until the end of January so they start part two of the Chilean Primera Division campaign at the Estadio Monumental in Macul, just outside Santiago.

It's hardly an ideal situation but that didn't seem to hinder them during the autumn as they went on to finish tied for top spot in the Apertura and duly pipped rivals Universidad Catolica 1-0 in a play-off.

O'HIGGINS v DEP IQUIQUE 9.30pm Recommendation O'Higgins 2pts 10-11 Hills That made it six league wins in a row for the Celeste, guaranteed their spot in next year's Copa Libertadores and makes them easy to back at 10-11 with Hills tonight.

Iquique's first half of the season ended in something of an anticlimax.

They were challenging for the title before ending their year on a run of no wins in seven, which eventually saw them finish in sixth spot.

The Dragones Celestas were beaten 1-0 at home by O'Higgins in the Apertura and coach Jaime Vera has a few key figures missing through injury.

You can have 7-2 Iquique with bet365 but given the form, home and away, of Eduardo Berizzo's men, O'Higgins look the more attractive wager.
