Clear of the rest when running Montys Music to half a length over two and a half miles at Down Royal on Thursday having previously finished second to Woodys Deep Ocean over two miles at Fairyhouse. Overdue a win.
Has performed creditably over hurdles - fourth behind Mullacash in a maiden at Leopardstown on Thursday - since promising effort on debut in Naas bumper in October. Gets the vote over obvious danger Celestial Light.
In contention when falling three out on chasing debut at Fairyhouse in race won by stablemate Bust Out 17 days ago. Useful novice hurdler last season and, while Adamant Approach was better at that game, ground conditions should favour Jessica Harrington's six-year-old.
