Nursultan Nazarbaev: It was hard to persuade Bakiev to leave Kyrgyzstan.

It was very hard to persuade Kurmanbek Bakiev to leave Kyrgyzstan, said President Nursultan Nazarbaev at the press conference in Astana today while commenting the situation in the Kyrgyz Republic."I held talks with Bakiev and the Interim Government from Washington. I arrived in Astana in the night of April 14. It was very hard to reach agreement with interim government members on air corridor and departure of Kurmanbek Bakiev from the country. It was very hard to persuade Bakiev to leave the country," Nursultan Nazarbaev added.
