Nuns roar back to clinch promotion.
Having broken the deadlock with a Jon Boden penalty, the home side totted up first-quarter tries via Mark Howgate and Jody Peacock to take control.
But Will Cave's try got Nuns on the scoreboard, the returning Ricky Aley adding the conversion before spearing home a drop goal, and the visitors hauled themselves level at the break as Tim Douglas reacted first to a charge down to nip over..
The second period was a tense affair but hooker Adam Bray snapped up the all-important try following another charge down and the Nuns defence stood firm to avenge a 19-16 openingday defeat - one of only four they have suffered this season - and secure a win that, with Fylde failing to beat Huddersfield, settled the issue.
Bridgwater & Albion................... 22 Rugby Lions ................................ 20 IT was deja vu for struggling Lions as, for the third time this season, they were squeezed out by the Somerset men.
Danny Hodge's try gave the home outfit an early lead but, despite a sin-bin session for Matt Goode, Lions hit back when Harry Owens set up Jack Green for a score converted by James Hawken.
Owens added a drop goal on 23 minutes but Lions once again paid for individual errors as Gavin Hancock snapped up a poor pass to log a try converted by to Luke Coze.
A fine kick enabled Hodge to scamper through for his second try, the conversion taking Bridgwater 19-10 clear at the break.
And although Lions then eased in front with a penalty and a converted try from Phil Reed, Bridgwater snatched the points when Cozens drilled home a penalty..
CLINCHER... Nuns' Adam Bray
