Number of murders in Kyrgyzstan decrease by 2.5 times in 13 years.

The number of murders in Kyrgyzstan per year decreased since 2005, the National Statistics Committee reports.

Except one incident which occurred in 2010 where over 400 people were killed due to conflict in the south of Kyrgyzstan.

203 murders were registered in the country in 2018 or 3.3 murders per 100,000 people. This is the smallest index since 2005.

Murder index in Kazakstan per 100,000 people was 4.81 in 2015, in Uzbekistan - 3 in 2998, in Tajikistan- 1.61 in 2011, In Turkmenistan - 4.22 in 2006 and in Russia- 10.82 in 2016.
