Nsma utilises a pan navy bespoke developed comprehensive maintenance management systems.

Tenders are invited for Nsma utilises a pan navy bespoke developed comprehensive maintenance management systems (cmms) deployed over navy- wide enterprise network (newn) for over 14000 users. The source code consists of approximately 1800 pages and 5-6 lakh lines of code. Data is collated from ships and ported on cmms through validation rules. The cmms application is used to analyse operations and defect data to provide authoritative decision support to enhance reliability of equipment/system and combat worthiness of platform. The cmms application is envisaged to be available 24x7x365 and provide customised/standard reports to platform lifecycle management stakeholders at various echelons. The present setup of application is fully operational and in working sat status. This application is intended to provide inputs for various specialised application deployed for management of specific aspects of platform life- cycle.
