AFTER telling you about Cracknuts Lane, Shaggs Meadow, Bell End, Gropers Lane and Flapper Fold Alley, I asked for your favourite funny street names.

George Olding has always liked Gammie Place in Cardenden, Chris Bain says there's a street corner in New York sign-posted Broad and Beaver, while Graham Laughlan once lived on a street in Kowloon, Hong Kong called Wan Fuk Road.

Perth reader Dougie Robb's nomination was quite bizarre - is there really a Khyber Pass in Stromness, Orkney? - but the one that tickled my fancy was spotted by Scott Wright.

Apparently Birmingham boasts Sarehole Road.

As Scott says, it might be a cobbled cycle lane....
