Now fit Gascoigne desperate to star and win Strictly Come Dancing.
According to the Daily Star, the 44-year-old says he's so fit after kicking his booze addiction that he wants to try out a TV tango.
"I'd love to do it. I'm up for any challenge now - and I think I would win hands down. I'm skilful at anything. I would take it full on just like my football. It would be a piece of p**s," Gazza told the Daily Star.
The former Newcastle United, Spurs and Rangers ace admits he is not a natural on the dance floor, but he says that would not hold him back.
"I could dance when I was drunk. But I wasn't one of those who went to nightclubs and wanted to dance," Gazza said.
He added: "However, if people say I can't do something, I try to prove them wrong."
Gazza also said he had been in talks to appear in ITV1's I'm a Celebrity - like his ex-wife Sheryl, 46, did last year - but he had to pull out due to his ongoing phone-hacking case against the News of the World. (ANI)
