Nova Analytics purchases Schott's lab equipment business.

Woburn, MA 9/3/03 -- Nova Analytics has acquired Schott Gerate GmbH, the laboratory equipment subsidiary of Schott Glass. Nova Analytic's Schott Instruments, GmbH subsidiary will develop, manufacture and distribute electrochemistry, titration and viscosity measurement equipment. Schott Gerate GmbH constituted part of Schott's Labware business segment, which also includes Schott Glas (producer of laboratory glass), Schott Medica and Jenaer Glass.

This deal makes it a "trifecta "for Nova in 2003. The Schott addition further enhances Nova's rapid rise in the water analysis world, and in electrochemistry in particular.
