Nott'm Forest 1 Birmingham 1.

FOREST shrugged off the dismissal of midfielder David Vaughan to record their fourth successive 1-1 draw in the league.

A Matt Mills header ensured that Forest extended their unbeaten record in the Championship to nine games, but Dougie Freedman's side are treading water in mid-table.

Ben Osborn struck the Birmingham post with a curling 20-yarder before the visitors took the lead in the 24th minute.

A wonderful cross from Paul Caddis was met with a diving header from Jon Toral.

Mills then equalised with a firm header from a Vaughan free-kick.

In the second period, Michael Morrison had a header cleared off the line for Birmingham, while Toral saw a shot deflected on to the post.

And Forest's Vaughan was sent off 16 minutes from time for a foul on Clayton Donaldson.
