Nothing Sleepy about CBRE deal.

Philip Heilpern, Richard Karson and Martin Lomazow of CB Richard Ellis were honored with the 2007 "Most Ingenious Deal of the Year" award presented by the Association for a Better Long Island (ABLI) and Commercial-Industrial Brokers Society (CIBS) of Long Island at a ceremony held on April 3, 2008.

This is the fourth time in 10 years that Messrs. Heilpern, Karson and Lomazow were awarded the organizations' Most Ingenious Deal of the Year, with previous wins in 1999, 2003 and 2004.

The award was presented to the CBRE Long Island team for their work on behalf of Sleepy's--The Mattress Professionals. They represented the national retailer in a 460,000 s/f transaction for a build-to-suit facility with developer Steel Equities. The deal is considered the largest industrial commitment in Nassau County in over a decade.
