Notebook computer lock.

A new lock designed to secure a notebook computer to a fixed object has been introduced by Securityware, Inc., of San Diego. The Notebook Lock works by looping its 6-foot-long cable around a desk or table and inserting the lock into the security slot that is built into most notebook computers. A key is required to release the device, but not to lock it, and the lock can be ordered keyed alike or keyed differently. The unit includes a travel pouch for storage and a universal adapter that attaches to notebooks without a security slot.
