Not easy to find a job; You Say

I GROW weary of Government statements about the unemployed and, now, comments about those who have been unemployed for more than a year. Where do they get their statistics from? Have they any idea what it is like to be made redundant at age 55+ and try to find a new job in a market that obviously does not want/need you (hence, redundancy) and at an age when you can't retrain? Do they know what it feels like to be looked down on by people, no matter how hard you try and how many jobs you apply for that you don't, these days, even get an acknowledgement for? What have they done in this world that gives them the right to look down on other people in the first place ? Also, Tory MPs take note: do you know how much people like me despair every time you use that distasteful phrase "hard working people", no matter what you''re talking about, in a nasty bid to create divisions between people? Especially those of you who have never done a proper job in your lives because you have inherited vast wealth by a chance of birth? My career as a registered nurse has involved me doing more for society than most of you put together and never have I cheated taxpayers out of their money or had my fingers in corrupt tills. You''re no better than common thieves.
