NorwegianBlue? You must be joking.

A LIVERPOOL fan from Norway is heading home after spending the season in Anfield.

`Scousewegian'docker Tage Herstad, 29,from near Bergen, has been to every match home and away after moving to Liverpool. Tage has followed the Reds since he was four. He said: ``All my friends supported Liverpool. They have a fantastic history.''

Tage has travelled from Norway to Liverpool four or five times a season since 1994 but decided to sell his car and other belongings to fulfil a dream of following the team for a season.

He moved into a flat near Anfield and worked as a landscape gardener and a barman at two pubs to pay for his travels.

Tage has made many friends on Merseyside. He has been invited to christenings, weddings and birthdays parties and was even asked to be godfather.

He said: ``Everyone was fantastic. Whatever I needed, they helped me, whether sorting out travel to an away game or tickets for friends visiting.''
