The Norwegian ministry of transport and communications has said that it will withdraw the concession for mobile phone network operations currently held by Broadband Mobile.

Broadband Mobile is reportedly facing bankruptcy and the licence is to be made available for new offers. A foreign operator that was interested apparently did not apply in time.

According to Nettavisen, a Norwegian online newspaper, the ministry has not yet decided when the concession will be open for application.
