Norton Personal Firewall.

Norton Personal Firewall from Symantec offers defense against hackers and allows you to decide which applications can and cannot access the Internet. There are rules created automatically whenever an alert appears, and users can build their own rules. The program comes with a set of defaults for blocking Trojan horse applications and automatically integrates with Norton AntiVirus 2001. A comprehensive event log provides detailed information about intrusion attempts--including the IP addresses of potential attackers. A slider bar sets the program's security level to high, medium, or low. Additional privacy features can be set to block access to confidential information such as bank account or credit card numbers, and the program can provide anonymous surfing and block cookies on a per-site basis.
