Northwest Airlines to launch new services from Memphis.


Northwest Airlines is to introduce nonstop flights to new destinations from Memphis, Tenn.

The new flights will include daily international service to Toronto, Canada from 26 April, as well as three daily flights to Chicago-Midway from 24 May, two daily flights to Washington-Dulles from 12 April and a daily service to Dayton, Ohio from 12 February. A second flight to Dayton will be added on 12 April.

In addition Northwest Airlines will resume service between Memphis and Cleveland on 12 February with one daily flight, and a second flight will launched on 22 March.

The new services will bring the number of daily departures from Memphis offered by Northwest Airlines and its Northwest Airlink partners from 198 to 213, with 88 destinations served by nonstop flights.
