Creative Packaging of Close-In Airline Inventory Is Ideal Fit for Suppliers

and Consumers

Northwest Airlines (Nasdaq: NWAC) today announced a partnership with, a web site offering creatively packaged trips for consumers within 14 days of purchase. The packages combine air and hotel, and often a rental car, creative activity suggestions, and even special arrangements, from dinner reservations to hot-air-balloon rides.

Northwest will provide inventory for flights from Site59 North American gateway cities to destinations in the US and Canada. In time, Northwest Airlines' international flights, including those through its alliance with KLM/Royal Dutch Airlines, will be incorporated on Site59, adding numerous European destinations as well as last-minute long weekends to Tokyo and other Asian cities. Additionally, in the near future Site59 and Northwest will be launching a customized version of the Site59 website on, providing Northwest customers easy access to exciting packages created with Site59 suppliers.
