Northern Survey branching out into forensics.

Northern Survey Supply has established a new division of the company specializing in forensic surveying.

The Sudbury-based company's new forensic surveying supply division will cater to forensic-specific products for crime scene investigation, post-blast investigation, bullet path reconstruction, fire and arson investigation, critical infrastructure protection, crash investigations, and medicolegal death investigations.

Earlier this year, Northern Survey acquired an ikibot X6 drone, which can be used for surveying open-pit mines or stockpiles, but is also applicable to inspect infrastructure, tracking animals and environmental sampling. It is also a distributor for the product.

In operation since 1989. Northern Survey Supply is a distributor of surveying products specializing in mining, forensics, and engineering measurement systems with sales offices in Southern and Northern Ontario, Canada.
